Cadence ("the app") is a time-tracking and invoicing app made by Elden Studios Company ("we", "us"). We built Cadence to keep your business data private and under your control. This policy explains what the app handles and what we do — and don't — collect.
We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Your information stays on your device and in your own private iCloud account. We have no servers that store your data and no access to it.
Cadence stores the information you create — time entries, clients, projects, invoices, your business profile, logo, and settings — on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your own private iCloud (Apple CloudKit) so it can sync across your devices. This data is associated with your personal Apple Account and is not accessible to us.
Cadence Pro (subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase) is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment information. The app only checks your subscription/entitlement status with Apple to unlock Pro features.
Cadence does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app does not track you across other apps or websites. Any anonymous usage counters used to improve the experience are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
When you share or send an invoice, you choose the recipient and the method (email, Messages, etc.). That action is initiated by you; we are not involved and do not receive a copy.
Cadence is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
You can edit or delete your data inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its local data; you can remove the synced copy from your iCloud settings. If you need help, contact us and we'll assist.
If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above and post the new version on this page.
